Whilst staff at Fosse Way Group are pleased to give advice, it is the customers responsibility to check with their stove manufacturer the suitability of our products, following all guidelines for the safety and maintenance of such appliance.

All products are sold for the domestic fuel market at the relevant vat rate.  Customers who may wish to use the fuel for any other purpose must inform Fosse Way Group on the order. If they neglect to do this Fosse Way Group is idemnified against any claim for unpaid vat and is able to claim from the customer all compensation and any additional costs incurred with HMRC.

Goods must be checked at the time of delivery and Fosse Way Group informed immediately by our contact page in the case of damage or loss.

Goods remain the property of Fosse Way Group until paid for in full.

In the unlikely event that your chosen item is out of stock we will contact you and offer the nearest alternative fuel or delivery date.

We aim to deliver your order within 7 days. If you require an earlier delivery this must be stated in the box when ordering.

We only deliver within mainland UK.

Delivery Information

East Midlands deliveries are carried out by our own 3.5ton (transit sized) vehicles, though sometimes through busy periods we will sub-contract larger haulage vehicles.

Bulk Firewood deliveries are crained off to the left side of the vehicle.  Standard and air dried firewood can be tipped from the bags, kiln cannot.

Barrow Bag deliveries are crained off then trolleyed to wherever you wish to store them.

Coal and Smokeless fuel deliveries will be either stacked where you wish or we can fill your bunker directly.

Briquette fuel deliveries will be stacked where you wish.

Please note.  We will always try to help as much as possable, but deliveries are made at the drivers discression.  Please be realistic with where you expect the fuel to be delivered to ie: many flights of stairs or down the bottom of a really long garden.  If you are unsure please ask.

Delivery Times: We will try to deliver with the most efficient routes, so it is best if we can have the flexability to deliver at any time of your chosen delivery day (the driver can call if prefered).  We do though offer you a choice of am (8:00-12:00) or pm (12:00-8:00).  If you need a specific time or you will be back by X:00 for eg. we will try to accomidate.

East Midlands Bag Exchange:

We use a deposit system on our bulk and barrow bags.  On the first delivery you will require a bag deposit.  You can then either return it for a refund or keep it, then on the second drop we just exchange your empty bag with a new ful one.

Coal Deliveries:

All coal and smokeless fuel is delivered in pre-pack bags so we can either fill your bunker or stack the bags where convenient.

Nationwide Pallet deliveries  are at a small additional charge as we include local delivery within our on-line prices but pallet network costs us more so we have to pass this on.  Deliveries are usually sent on a three day service.  Special requests may be possible but may incurr additional extra cost.

The haulage company that we use are very good and help where they can but please bear in mind these pallets are heavy, it up to the drivers discression where he/she can place the pallet.  They are contracted to kerbside only, gravel drives, lumps and bumps etc. are not possable.

The vehicle used would normally be an 18 ton truck with rear tail lift.  This will require plenty of room with approx 2.8m width 3.8m and 8m length.  Please let us know any special information to aid the driver.
